About Me

January 2018--

My love of paper crafts has roots dating back to my high school years. In 1997 I began to explore the world of scrapbooking. Over the past 20 years my interests have expanded to include cardmaking, rubber stamping, altered arts, DIY, home decor, jewelry, upcycling and more.

I began working as a professional designer in late 2004. Over the last 14 years I have created hundreds of paper based projects for publication and promotion. My work has been published in a numerous US craft magazines, as well as publications from Canada and the UK. My designs have been featured not only online but through books, television, CHA booths, ad designs, manufacturer make & takes and nationally distributed kit clubs.

I have extensive experience in writing technique based articles, tutorials and project instructions. I spent three years as Technical Editor for CardMaker magazine. I have written multiple articles for Cardmaker magazine as well as online step-by-step tutorials for a variety of manufacturers. I have had four books published featuring how-to-articles, Clean and Simple card designs and card sketches.

In addition to professional paper craft designs, over the past 10 years I have explored the worlds of Stampin' Up! demonstrator, graphic design and rubber stamp illustration.

With the closing of CardMaker in December 2017, my focus has moved from print publication to exploring a variety of quick and easy craft projects and techniques. I am currently a designer for Sizzix, member of the DecoArt blogger outreach program, and product reviewer.

I share information on a regular basis through social media and enjoy creating designs that others can recreate easily in a short amount of time. I am always interested in exploring new design opportunities and innovative products.
